Gazi

Street food spectacle Beneath a rippling ceiling of suspended terracotta pots, March Studio’s first foray into hospitality design supplants the ordered interior of the former Press Club with an edgy and mischievous new fitout for George Calombaris’ street-food inspired venture, Gazi.

A rolling mass of cheap and cheerful terracotta pots hung upside down from standard acoustic tiling certainly checks the spectacle box.

Melbourne restaurant The Press Club opened at the bottom of the landmark Herald and Weekly Times Building, on the corner of Flinders and Exhibition Streets, in late 2006.

A partnership between celebrity chef George Calombaris and restaurateur George

The first issue of «Preschool Education» (then the newspaper) was ready for publication on the eve of 2000. And the New Year holidays our little newborn edition has received a gift from the publishing house toy dragon — so much, puzatenky clearly satisfied with their lives and quite aggressive. His evil mythological ancestors were like two teeth in the open jaws. But his teeth were made of soft material and easily cleaned in the fall — if others want to see the dragon suddenly toothless. Little dragon lived in the editorial room, and then moved to one of the orphanages.

And on the eve of 2012, after the date of the December issue, we are again presented with a dragon. It is much inferior to the dimensions, the first — dragon, not a dragon. But it has been quite tangible teeth and the inside dragon was tightly packed with sweets. If desired, this could be seen playing characters: anything related to the wealth of inner content and refined ability to defend itself, which over the years has acquired «Pre-school education.»

But that’s not the point. The main thing is that our publication has existed in the world for 12 years

GARDENERS DELIGHT

This attractive side courtyard and front garden has more than 40 different plantings within its walls.

The owner of this courtyard is a knowledgeable and passionate gardener who wanted the outdoor space to be a real «gardener’s garden»; one that was botanically rich and also provided space for seating and casual relaxing. Ben Scott, from Ben Scott Garden Design, was approached to design the side courtyard and also the front garden. The design consists of a front and side garden. Neil Jackson undertook construction of both spaces.

The front garden needed to be sympathetic to the Edwardian house facade and

TRANSPORT OF BEES WITH OPEN Lethke

The Polish magazine "Beekeeping" It published a very interesting article on the transport of bees to honey collection, which is placed below.

The author of this article — Head of beekeeping main agricultural school E. Woicke — recently visited the US and met with the detail work of large beekeeping farms.

ALL beekeepers are well aware of how much time-consuming and cause trouble as hives preparation for transport: strengthening the framework, closing the tap hole, clogging hives on top of the grid or the lap, and the like. US beekeepers working in large apiaries, each hive can not be

Gas Street Basin, Birmingham

The presence of water in its various guises has long been an attraction for outdoor photographers. This month’s On location shoot saw Phil and I drawn to the urban landscape of central Birmingham, to explore the inland waterways in and around the rather intriguingly named Gas Street Basin.

In the world of canals and narrowboats, Gas Street Basin certainly has generated a reputation — it is one of the places to moor one’s vessel. The first canal was built here in the late 18th century and was a victim of its own success, quickly becoming over-congested with traffic. It is

The negotiation process as a mechanism of social and labor relations in the modern information society

Problem formulation. The development of modern relationships is largely determined by the formation of a society based on knowledge. The main challenge of the time due to the fact that labor and capital as factors of development of innovative economy is gradually replaced by a distributed system of relations, remote forms of organization of work. This opens a new dimension of research capacity and human resources. Information technology plays an active role in social communication, social construction of reality. Data considered in the context influence the allocation of resources, innovative business activity, the use of remote forms of organization

GARDEN HOUSE

Most children have a cherished dream -a small house, shed or den which is especially for them to play in. The world of make-believe is one to foster and this little house is ideal for tea parties, teddy bears’ picnics, or, stretching the imagination, a place of safety for those three little pigs who were always having trouble with the big bad wolf.

The house is built completely from stock size Nordic redwood. (I bought sawn timber and planed it up and saved a great deal of money that way.) The roof is made from corrugated ‘plastic’ sheeting which overlaps

Panoramic lift in the St Petersburg HOME Mertens

House of Mertens.

The five-storey house Mertens — the administrative center of the adjoining store. In 2007-2008, the building completely renovated and modernized in accordance with the modern standards of office buildings. The project included, in particular, modernization and renovation of the old lift.

The building stands on the Nevsky Prospekt, the main street of St. Petersburg. In 1871 he became the owner of the fur trader FL Mertens. In the 1850s, on Nevsky, 50 he had a small shop, the businessman later opened a shop in the arcade, also on Nevsky Prospect. At the beginning of the XX

The first casting of a new installation has been repeatedly punched in the jet — two blasting clear bite, there are striped! Yes, bigger, for two hundred grams. This, comrades, is the theme! You can not very overnice wiring undermine higher knock louder on the bottom. Despite the fact that this test is the top of my «Yamaga» — jig absolutely complete, no «failures», and casting and wiring — confident, adequate. Now I see a long range — and, finally, I pay attention to suvod the opposite shore. I completely forgot about it — because in the morning, with a strong side wind, catching at a distance of 35-40 meters was impossible in principle. A powerful jet of the center channel required a straight section of the cord, which would pass over it in the air, giving the opportunity to make at least two or three steps without demolition. The wind killed a catch unconditionally. But he s verse I easily shoots a jig to the opposite shore, where before sboyka main stream and tributary of the left duct formed a tempting patch of calm water. And not so penny — suvod stretches twelve meters. And what about the depth?

Hooray, the depth is. Six grams of drowning three seconds — and that at least two and a half meters. It is enough for meaningful jig — and, perhaps, enough for a predator? Broads! Undercuts, double-clutch squeal in response to a double-leap at the far end of the cord, and an instant gathering!

This is the game seriously. Very nice long-range light-jig of the jet, and an immediate response worthy of a predator. Pike? Perhaps. Clear, shot her an evil spirit — and nothing that is past. I think that in this «return pipe» should fit not one rybeha —

Gang star

It’s easy to see why artist Michael Vasquez has been earning a reputation as one of the country’s most incendiary young talents-one deserving of his debut solo show at Miami’s well-regarded Frederic Snitzer Gallery in February. Take one of his best-known pieces: “Bloody Buddy Row,” an eight-foot-high portrait of a gangster depicted with a bare chest, covered in tattoos and chains, his hands forming a gang sign. It’s washed in red paint, brutal and menacing-but it’s the painting’s subtitle, “Friendly Father Figures» that hints at the piece’s subtext and Vasquez’s real area of inquiry: not gangsters but the bonds of
